Kinks on VH1 Classic

This sounds so good, I have to share it with you:

The Kinks captured live at the Rainbow Theater in London on Christmas Eve 1977. The Kinks tear through many of their classic songs including "Lola," "Sleepwalker," "Life On The Road," "Well Respected Man," "Death Of A Clown," "Sunny Afternoon," "Waterloo Sunset," "All Day And All Of The Night," "Slum Kids," "Celluloid Heroes" and "Get Back In The Line." The group also gives a rousing rendition on their holiday classic "Father Christmas" with Ray Davies' donned as Santa Claus.

I wish I could get VH-1...I'd love to see this as it was about 1976 when I last saw the Kinks perform.

What a concert, Ray emptied the contents of a 6 pack of beer on the audience and himself during his performce of Alcohol!

Hang in there -- no doubt we'll see it on YouTube before too long. Last time I saw the Kinks was the last time they played in the US -- at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert at the old Cleveland Browns stadium. I've seen Ray numerous times during his solo touring. Hasn't he been to France at all over the past ten years?
