Last of the Steam-Powered Trains

I found this on YouTube just now, a juxtaposition of two favorite forms of entertainment -- the Kinks and silent film comedy. Enjoy!

A scene from the best movie ever made!
Buster Keatons' The General!
A silent film that economically tells a story with incredible death defying slpstick comedy performances, so many of the gags were of the order of "either we get it right the first time or die"
The look is totally Mathew Brady Civil War Photographs recreated perfectly...the attention to detail is a wonder in itself. (The train collision on the trestle bridge while the battle is going on in the valley below is epic)
I love this Kinks song...the two go together perfectly!
