NEO Green Energy Expo in Akron August 16

The one-day event offers attendees the opportunity to interact with companies, organizations and speakers committed to mainstreaming clean energy in Ohio. The event schedule includes:

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Lonnie Thompson
"Retreating Glaciers: A Paleoclimate Perspective from the World's Highest Mountains"

Dr. Thompson is one of the world's foremost authorities on paleoclimatology and glaciology.
He has led more than 50 expeditions during the last 30 years, conducting ice-core drilling
programs in the world's polar regions as well as in the tropical and subtropical ice fields.
Thompson was an advisor to former Vice President Al Gore in the production of his 2006
documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth."
