Here's the first bloom in my garden this spring. Inside, two buds on the Lady Macbeth paph orchid are beginning to open. Thanks for the pictures of the crocuses. It gives me hope for my garden. Until yesterday I only had little crocus peaking its head out of the ground. Yesterday I counted 12 or more.
But then, I read that deer like to eat crocuses and now I am sad. I planted them in the fall not knowing that they would likely be deer food in the spring.
